Legend of Korra Book 3 Trailer

They have a new trailer for Book (Season) 3 of the Legend of Korra. It’s good, giving absolotely no hint to story or theme, just a ton of bending action shots with an eerie musical backdrop. It’s interesting, becuase one of my main problems with the Legend of Korra from last season was the lack of action. Too much politics, talk, whining, etc. And when they did have combat or bending it was very basic, nothing creative or imaginative like I’d come to expect from Avatar. That really picked up toward the end though and I have high hopes for Book 3.

Godzilla Asian Trailer

Alright. Now I’m excited. I don’t know if it’s that thing that looks like Rodan or the fact that this finally revealed Godzilla’s full face and form, but I’m officially ready. I was one of the few who actually kinda liked the remake with Matthew Broderick (please, don’t hit me in my face) but seeing this Godzilla really points out the lack of that one. This doesn’t look like a T-rex or a lizard, not even a dragon. It looks like Godzilla. More than that, we’re going to get to see a serious throw down. The old Godzilla movies were always at their best when he was fighting someone. Personally, I have a soft spot for Mothra or King Ghidorah, but Rodan will do. For now.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Part of the reason I wanted to have a blog was so I could go nuts when I have moments like these. Usually, it’s long after the thing I’m excited about has faded from relevancy (I don’t go to the movies too often) but not this time. Just to be clear, I spoil just about everything below. I didn’t expect much when I went to see the second Captain America movie. I was one of the few who didn’t really care for the first one (I actually preferred Thor). They did a lot more with him in the Avengers, but even then he just wasn’t as interesting as the other characters. So believe me when I say I am surprised, not only to say it isĀ great, but is also my favorite Marvel movie next to the Avengers. It topped Thor, the Hulk movies, even Iron Man.
