New Blog
Okay, I am trying something new. One thing I miss about being hosted on WordPress.com was the community and the integrated distribution channel they had for posts. I think it would be great for WordPress to make jetpack link posts to the blogging community, but maybe that is more difficult than I imagine. Since this blog doesn’t have too much readership (all my fault) I am going back to using The Old Story Arcs as the main blog, which is now the new link up at the top that says blog. This page will now be a news section for my books when that day comes. Everything else will remain the same, this is still my page for the books and all that info. I don’t know how well this will work or if there are obstacles I am not accounting for. Probably both, but I feel that not taking…
Superman And Zod
SPOILER ALERT…AGAIN! SPOILER ALERT…AGAIN! SPOILER ALERT…AGAIN! Okay, so the last time I saw the Superman movies I was probably under the age of five. I barely remember anything. I certainly didn’t remember this… So, it’s alright for him to kill as long as it’s comical? This is the movie that everyone cites when they talk about how Superman didn’t handle the situation like they wanted when he killed Zod. I mean, this looks pretty lethal. I also think it’s funny because there are a few people who’ve really called it out for the destruction and deaths caused. I get that, but these are the same people who love kaiju films. Godzilla and all that stuff. Love it too, but I’ve seen massive monsters pretty much destroy Japan before. It’s silly, sure, but why can’t the same suspension if disbelief be applied in this situation? It seems as if a lot…
Story Arcs Has Moved Here!
I have a post up on the old Story Arcs announcing this, but I had a lot more to say and thought it really needed to be here. About a year or so ago I created my first blog (actually my second or third, but the first I really kept up with) for the purpose of looking at several topics. First and foremost, writing. I am a writer and aspiring author. I have one book completed and the second well on its way. I wrote about several things in the publishing industry (as I learned them) as well as the various things I love about Fantasy and Science Fiction. I also write about games, movies, shows, anything that peaks my interest. This new site will follow that same format for the most part.
